|1875||N.P. Williams, J.E. Railsback, J.F. Quigg, and R. J. Mitchell purchased land and built a frame building on First Farmers State Bank current location in Minier, IL.|
|1875||Williams, Railsback and Co. Bank of Minier opened its doors for business with J. F. Quigg (Cashier) and R. J. Mitchell (Assistant Cashier).|
|1885||The Quiggs purchased Williams' interest in the bank, and the new firm was known as the Minier Bank of Quigg, Railsback and Company.|
|1891||A second bank, Minier State Bank, was organized in Minier, but it closed in the crash of 1932.|
|1906||The Minier Bank of Quigg, Railsback and Company was incorporated as the "Farmers State Bank of Minier".|
|1975||The bank's name was changed to First Farmers State Bank of Minier.|
|1994||Delavan, IL branch opened.|
|1996||Purchased Commerce Bank branch bank in Delavan.|
|2002||Dropped "Minier" from the name and became First Farmers State Bank.|
|2005||Opened a temporary facility in Bloomington while building a new building.|
|2006||New bank in Bloomington, IL opened at the corner of General Electric and Towanda Barnes Roads.|
