Due to the significant increase in recent fraudulent card transactions at fuel stations, customers who pay at the pump with their First Farmers State Bank debit card will be required to enter their card's personal identification number (PIN) in order to complete the transaction. This change takes effect immediately.
Gas dispensers that only run card transactions as "credit" will likely decline your card. If this happens, you will need to pay for your fuel purchase inside the facility where a PIN will not be required.
We regret any inconvenience, but First Farmers is committed to taking proactive steps within our control to better ensure our customers' debit card security. Please contact a Personal Banker at your local First Farmers banking center if you have questions about this change.
We've been serving farmers since we first opened our doors in 1875.
